Female Shaving Tips: Hair Removal Tips For Legs, Armpits And Bikini Area
The Most Affordable Hair Removal Tools
For most women the two most affordable and effective hair removal tools are razors and epilators.
These two tools remove hair in two very different ways. Razors remove hair above skin level by cutting it off flush with the skin.
Since only about 1/3 of each hair is above the skin level at any one time, this means that even as you are shaving off that hair, the hair is continuing to grow underneath the surface and it won’t take long to grow above skin level again.
Epilators on the other hand, remove hair by pulling it out by the roots, which means that any hair you remove using an epilator will take much longer to grow back.
The problem here is that only about 30% of your hair is in the growing stage at any one time, so it will take several months to remove all the growing hair by the roots, in order to slow the overall hair growth on any area of your body.
In addition, since all your hair isn’t equally strong and healthy, even the best epilator for women can break off some of the hair leaving the root intact.
For this reason many women use a combination of these two tools for more efficient hair removal.

Use a Razor by Day and an Epilator at Night
Since after shaving, new hair growth can appear within a matter of hours, it is best when using a razor to do so in the morning when you are getting ready to start your day.
This will give you that smooth skin look and feel just when you need it the most. Do use a shaving cream or oil when using a razor as this helps to prevent skin irritation, and also helps the hairs to stand up so that they are easier to cut.
Rinse the area you shave well immediately after shaving to remove any stray cut hairs and keep them from becoming ingrown hairs.
If you are using an epilator, it is best to use it at night since you are pulling out several hair roots at a time which often causes red bumps to appear on your skin, and may even result in some minor bleeding.
By using the epilator at night after your bedtime shower, you give your skin time to recover from the assault and those red bumps should disappear by morning. This also then allows you to shave off any remaining hair that may have broken off rather than gotten pulled out.
Whether you use a razor, an epilator or both to remove that unwanted hair from your legs, your armpits, and bikini area, removing that hair regularly will help you to keep the hair at bay, give you a smoother look, and be less time consuming in the long run than it would be to allow it to grow wild, and then try to cut through a forest of hair.
Having hair free legs, armpits and bikini area is every woman’s dream. These shaving tips for women will help you get the job done effectively.
