The LEGO City Arctic Base Camp is a fun building set that allows children to build up their camp and then offers them a variety of ways to imaginatively play.
Features of this set include:
- 4 Arctic explorers, pilot, scientist, Research assistant (accessories include arctic explorer hoods to protect them from the cold.)
- Tracked exploration vehicle has tracks, drills, 2 exhaust pipes. Helicopter has a cockpit, rotors, rear propeller, a winch with nets.
- Husky sled team- 4 Huskies, sled, lights, radar, radar display, camera, fishing rod, and box.
- Arctic camp measures 7” X 8” X 9”
- Husky sled measures: 3” X 6” X 1”
- Scooter: 1” X 3” X 1”
- Ice Driller measures: 4” X 7” X 4”

Not only does the LEGO City Arctic Camp Base 60036 Building Toy go well with some of the other Arctic City sets, but with other sets in general.
If people mixed it with some of the North Pole and Santa sets, they could build an entire North Pole village!
Part of the fun of LEGO sets is the mixing and matching, allowing kids to build their own cities and worlds to look like anything they want!

- It’s a nice big set with plenty of fun small details
- It is fairly easy to put together
The only real complaint is that this set is geared more towards boys than girls, and that it would have been nice if at least one of the explorers has been female.
Overall, the Arctic Camp is a great addition to any LEGO collection or even a great starter set for slightly older children.
